Step 1: Download Application

- Save the fillable PDF to your device.
- Answer all questions and save the completed application to your device.
- Be sure to print a backup copy.

Download the fillable application form to your PC or mobile device. We recommend saving the application form periodically to ensure that your answers are not lost.
If you are a high school counselor or advisor, you may choose to print copies of the application form for students to complete manually, share the downloaded application form and/or the application link through email correspondence.
Step 2: Gather Supporting Documents
Request supporting documents from:
- Parent or guardian
- Teacher, counselor, advisor or school administrator
- Minister or clergy member
- Your employer (if applicable)

Every applicant must submit the following documents for consideration for a scholarship award.
- A 250-words or less statement on the applicant’s future goals.
- A 250-words or less statement by the applicant’s parent or guardian.
- An official transcript including this year’s first semester grades, class rank, GPA (unweighted), and ACT/SAT test scores.
- Two letters of recommendation from your counselor, teacher, advisor, administrator, minister, or employer.
Step 3: Submit Your Application
Complete package must be received no later than February 28, 2025:
- Submit all pages of your completed application form.
- Scan and/or print all pages of your supporting documents.
- Submit your completed application by email or mail.

Overview
Each year Advocates for Youth Education helps high school seniors pursue a college degree by providing much-needed funding. Since our inception in 1989, we have awarded over $1 Million in scholarships to deserving high school seniors from throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.
In an effort to reach even more Cincinnati-area high schooler students, we have decided to allow students to submit their completed scholarship application electronically. Students can now download the scholarship application form on their computer, laptop, or mobile device and complete the fillable PDF form. After gathering all of the required supporting documentation, completed scholarship applications can be emailed to us or submitted to us by mail.
